(1) The atmosphere above the earth. (Usually called the heavens.)

(2) The universe that we call outer space. (Also called the heavens.)

(3) The place where these who have been born again, the redeemed, will experience eternal, unbroken fellowship with God. It is a real place. The Bible does not say where, but it does say it is not a part of this earth. Jesus said that He would prepare mansions (dwelling places) there for his followers. (This is the place that we refer to as Heaven.)
