"Find yourself" is the modern advice. So, look in the mirror and you will see yourself! However, that is not the meaning of "Find yourself." Accurately seeing one's self is a key to happiness. But, seeing self as God sees, is not pleasing to self.
The Old Testament Prophet, Isaiah, saw himself as he really was after he saw a vision of God's glory. Isaiah recorded this event in Isaiah, chapter 6:
When comparing himself to God,> Isaiah said, "Woe is me." When he saw his sinfulness and confessed his condition to God, God cleansed him. Only God can erase a person's sin and give a new life. God loves each person. In fact He loved so much that He gave His Son to die for each individual's sin.
God requires each person to repent and come to Christ for forgiveness and a new life. God, through His Holy Spirit, mades the person new. God promises sins forgiven and a new life attitude, with help and comfort, giving peace of heart to each person who comes to Christ.
